This man says he was attacked in his home by Coral Springs Officers. The video is pretty intense as this man with bandages on his shoulders is yelling at an officer outside of his window, telling him how they are causing him undue stress.
Just as he is explaining the situation, you hear the Coral Springs officers begin to break down his door. As he is taken top the ground you hear the man yelling “My Spleen, My Spleen!”
The original Police Report regarding the incident was posted on the Coral Springs Police Department Website:November 17, 2008:Man Shot in Attempted RobberyCoral Springs Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning at the 2700 block of Riverside Drive.“No Charges Just To Place The Fear Of God In Me for video taping the fist Assault on me. Sick dirty Cop’s CoralCorrupt Cop’s Springs. Can’t hide from the video. They deleted the best part but not all. Here’s a little of what they missed deleting from my phone. Coral springs has the dirtiest Cops I’ve met personally. Don’t move here you won’t be safe from the dirty cops in your own home. No charges filed and held against my will for 12 days approximately.”
At approximately 6:50am the Coral Springs Police received a 911 call from the victim’s wife advising her husband had been shot.
Mark David Braun, 37 of Coral Springs, was approached in the hallway of his residence by a black male in his mid 20’s with dreads. The male produced a gun and demanded money from the victim. The victim attempted to pull out his own gun when the suspect shot the victim in the lower abdomen.
The suspect fled the scene west on NW 27 Street in a small black vehicle.The victim was airlifted to North Broward Medical Center where he was treated and later released.
